The University of Sfax announces the organization of a selection contest of candidates for teaching and training mobility at the University of Almeria, SPAIN within the Erasmus+ programme.
University of Almeria, Spain offers 1 mobility grant for teaching.
Details about the academic offer:
- The amount of staff scholarship is 1120€, plus travel allowance.
- Areas: Agriculture, Economics, Accounting and taxation, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Management and administration, Marketing and advertising, Languages (English and Spanish)
The mobility will take place in the autumn semester of the academic year 2023/2024.
Criteria for submitting the application file to the ERASMUS+ Staff Status
- To be a staff employed at the University of Sfax
- English or Spanish language skills (min B2)
- The candidate is affiliated and has teaching-research activity in the field corresponding to the mobility
- Must provide the support letter from home university.

The Call for Course Proposals for the International Summer School 2024, which will be held in The University of Coruna, has been published:

Each course shall have a total teaching load of 42 hours divided into two weeks and will have an academic value of 6 ECTS credits.

Timetable (to be confirmed): Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm. Thursday 25th: Bank Holiday.
Accommodation and meals will be provided by UDC.

The PhD courses in Political Science and Public Administrations Sciences of the University of Messina are eager to invite PhD candidates and early scholars in Political Science, Law, Economics and Humanities to the third edition of the Student Conference that, this year will be devoted to the theme “European identity. History, Tradition, Innovation ”. The event, scheduled for October 2023, will favour different methodological and disciplinary approaches to enhance and promote a shared dialogue on european identity. The conference will give life to a wide-ranging debate among new generations of researchers, enriched by the presence of authoritative scholars. Comment éduquer au développement durable ? Telle est la question à laquelle devront répondre les enseignants et futurs enseignants de l’espace francophone, de la maternelle au supérieur.
La participation des jeunes enseignants est vivement souhaitée, car ils sont l’avenir de la
profession.
Calendrier
Chaque pays participant au concours organise des sélections nationales entre mars et septembre 2023, au cours desquelles deux candidats sont sélectionnés pour la phase finale.
Dépôt des vidéos en ligne: du 1er au 30 mai 2023, à 23h59.
Sélection des 10 meilleures propositions par les jurys locaux: le 3 juin
Sélection des 5 meilleures propositions par le public en ligne: le 5 juin
Sélection du jury national des 2 meilleures vidéos et envoi des noms des lauréats locaux: le 26 juin
Finale: le 23 novembre à Yaoundé, au Cameroun
Comment réaliser une vidéo ?
Pour réaliser une vidéo, peu de choses sont nécessaires. Les participants peuvent librement
choisir les outils suivants :
? 1 téléphone portable
? 1 ordinateur avec caméra
? 1 tablette
? 1 caméra
? 1 logiciel
? Tout autre support numérique
La réalisation de la vidéo peut avoir lieu au domicile du participant, à son lieu de travail ou
ailleurs. L’enregistrement de la vidéo ne doit pas dépasser 120 secondes. Avant de poster la
vidéo, il est important de revisionner la proposition afin de vérifier si tout est correct.
Enfin, les participants doivent remplir le formulaire d’inscription en ligne. Le formulaire sera ouvert du 1er au 30 mai 2023.

? Déposer sa candidature en ligne, en respectant strictement le délai fixé par les
organisateurs

Voici les conditions de validation :
? Respect du thème du Concours
? Caractère innovant et originalité de la vidéo
? Pertinence de l’outil pédagogique/numérique utilisé
? Qualité de l’image (cadrage et luminosité)
? Qualité du son (clarté, fluidité de la voix, intonation)
? Qualité de la langue (morphosyntaxe correcte, lexique approprié, clarté de l’expression)
? Respect du temps (120 secondes maximum)
? Applicabilité/faisabilité de l’innovation
Données personnelles
Dans le cadre du concours, des données à caractère personnel concernant les participants sont
collectées avec leur consentement. Elles permettent aux organisateurs d’identifier chaque
candidat et de l’informer en cas de sélection de sa vidéo. Ces données à caractère personnel seront conservées par le Comité d’organisation pendant
10 ans.
Sélection des propositions
Les sélections des vidéos se déroulent simultanément dans les pays organisateurs. Les
sélections du jury sont réalisées à partir d’une grille d’évaluation disponible en ligne.
? 1ère sélection par le jury interne du pays des dix meilleures propositions. Elle est réalisée
à partir d’une grille d’évaluation disponible sur la page Facebook CI Mon innovation
pédagogique
? 2ème sélection des cinq meilleures vidéos par le public. Cette sélection est réalisée par vote
via un formulaire en ligne.
? 3ème sélection par le jury interne du pays des deux meilleures vidéos qui vont candidater
avec celles des autres pays concernés.
? 4ème sélection le jour de la célébration de la Journée Internationale des Professeurs de
Français. Elle est faite par le jury final du concours qui procède à la désignation des
trois gagnants de l’édition en cours.
Jury
Le jury interne du pays est composé de membres de l’association constituant l’équipe
d’organisation du concours. Chaque membre du jury évalue individuellement les participants
à partir d’une fiche d’évaluation critériée totalisant 20 points. Les notes attribuées à chaque
participant par les membres sont calculées pour obtenir la moyenne de celui-ci. Le classement
s’effectue à partir de la moyenne obtenue.
Le jury final du concours est composé par les membres des jurys internes des différents pays
et des partenaires. Chaque membre du jury a droit à 1 voix durant le vote.
Lots à gagner
Les participants ont la possibilité de gagner plusieurs lots allant du matériel didactique et
informatique aux formations en présentiel ou en distanciel, dans le pays de résidence ou à
l’étranger. En fonction des partenaires mobilisés, les prix sont attribués à trois ou à cinq lauréats.
Les lauréats ne pouvant effectuer le déplacement pour la finale du concours peuvent se faire
représenter par un membre de l’ambassade de leur pays ou de l’association participante.
La remise des lots aux lauréats absents pourra aussi se faire par valise diplomatique.
Acceptation du règlement du jeu-concours
Le fait de participer au concours implique l’acceptation pleine et entière, sans aucune réserve,
du présent règlement dans son intégralité, lequel a valeur de contrat entre les organisateurs et
les participants.

We are pleased to inform you that the first Call for Proposals of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme 2022-2027 financed under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe), has now been published on the Funding and Tender Opportunities Portal of the European Commission.
As you know, the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is the EU’s programme to encourage international learning mobility across the African continent by providing support for consortia of African Higher Education Institutions and scholarship opportunities for African trainees, students, and staff. It is built on the positive experience of the related previous programmes, the Intra-ACP Academic Mobility Scheme (2010-2013) and Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme I-IV (2016-2020).
The action is part of the Youth Mobility for Africa flagship in the field of Education and Training under the Global Gateway Africa-Europe Investment Package and it aims to support learning opportunities and exchanges and ultimately to promote Africa as an attractive study destination.
The programme is managed by the European, Education, and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), in cooperation with the Directorate General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) and in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC).
Following the publication of the Call for proposals, EACEA is organising an online information session on Friday, 21 April 2023 (9.30 – 12.30 CET/CEST, Brussels Time). This session will build on the first pre-information session held on 13 March 2023 with the aim of introducing the new scheme. During this session, the speakers will provide an overview of the programme and details on the new Call, including information on the selection process, the eligibility, selection and award criteria. The participants will also receive guidance and advice on how to prepare and submit an application through the Funding and Tender Opportunities Portal.

– Creation of a large thematic network on EU external policy to collect, share and discuss among the partners research findings, content of courses and experiences, products (studies, articles, etc.)
– Establishing a tool allowing the partners to share their academic works and run peer review exercises, also commenting on the posted documents
– Provision of results to the European Commission
Thematic focus:
– Jean Monnet Networks in Higher Education support EU studies (worldwide), i.e., fostering knowledge and understanding about the European Union today, including its role in the world in general and/or in specific policy areas.
– This Call relates this broad topic to Africa as Europe’s neighbouring continent with close political, economic, social, cultural, and historical ties, and with joint challenges, and objectives (see, e.g., AU-EU Innovation Agenda).
– Networks could, e.g.: look at Africa-EU relations with regard to meeting common goals and challenges (as in SDGs); compare European and African integration and/or analyse their mutual impact; analyse EU (foreign) policy development and/or impact from an African perspective; …
Grant:
– up to 1.2 Million Euros in total, granted over 3 years (extension possible)
– lump sum funding, covering staff costs, travel and subsistence costs, equipment costs and subcontracting as well as other costs (such as dissemination of information, publishing or translation)
– one network will be funded under this Call
Consortium composition:
– Applicants are Higher Education Institutions.
– Network must include at least 10 applicants from at least 5 different Sub-Saharan Africa countries (Region 9);

In a second step, CIVIS staff (CIVIS Global Partnerships Officer and others) offers its active support to those within CIVIS and ist partner network interested in a joint application. This could include the active assistance in looking for further partners, in setting-up the consortium, organising the writing process, and exploring further benefits according to concrete needs and conditions of the applicant network, organising the ideational support from CIVIS, etc.
The timeline set by the EC might be ambitious. But CIVIS, one of the first and larger European University alliances, together with its six strategic partner institutions in Africa, can provide a promising platform for developing an application. Moreover, this is a single call which will not be repeated as such.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration from Babe?-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca will organize this summer the third edition of the UBB-FSEGA International Summer School on Business Administration (ISSBA) that is addressed to business students from all over the world. This year the summer school will focus on two modules (Module 1: Current Issues in Management and Marketing and Module 2: Corporate Finance, Reporting, and Communication) with a perspective on Eastern Europe and will take place on-campus during 18 July – 23 July 2022.
During the Summer School, international students will attend classes taught by professors and researchers from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and they will also benefit from lectures given by Romanian entrepreneurs. On 17th November 2022, during the International Education Week 2022, York University and their?international partners will host the?2nd?Sustainable on the Go Conference?(SOTG?2022).
In the lead-up to conference, the SOGT 2022 wants to hear from young voices from around the world to engage in the discussion on how internationalization and mobility in higher education can contribute to a better world. How can studying abroad and learning to respectfully work in intercultural teams make a difference? The SOGT 2022 is looking for Youth to play an active and meaningful role in the conference in a meaningful way.?
This pre-conference Youth Engagement Program is facilitated by our conference partner, Crossing Borders Education (CBE). It will provide Youth with the international group experience of building trust across cultural differences and establish a dialogue culture to actively engage with each other, collaborate, and creatively contribute to the themes of the SOTG 2022 Conference.?

Eligibility
We are looking for participants with the following eligibility criteria:
You are between 17-24 years old and are enrolled as a student in a higher education institution at the time of the application and for the duration of the program. You would like to work in an international team of youth leaders to contribute to an international conference and make a difference. You have an interest and/or experience in the SOTG 2022 themes and/or intercultural learning. You are ready to commit and can attend the 3 virtual workshops on July 14, 18, 20 2022 (2 hours each). You have a working knowledge of English and can engage in virtual platforms.

The SOGT 2022 is looking for Youth to play an active and meaningful role in the conference in a meaningful way.?
This pre-conference Youth Engagement Program is facilitated by our conference partner, Crossing Borders Education (CBE). It will provide Youth with the international group experience of building trust across cultural differences and establish a dialogue culture to actively engage with each other, collaborate, and creatively contribute to the themes of the SOTG 2022 Conference.?
Program Benefits
Participate to gain skills, creativity, and knowledge to be a part of and co-facilitate sessions at the SOTG 2022 in November 2022! CBE will facilitate the virtual sessions in small groups to experience the depth, vulnerability, and courage necessary to nurture our capacities of empathic listening and human care.
Explore topics of Resilience, Creativity and Belonging through the art of story Experience empathic intercultural dialogue and storytelling activities that support you to connect with other likeminded university students around the world. Grow into a caring international youth community that will equip you to meaningfully contribute to the themes of the SOGT 2022. Eligibility
We are looking for participants with the following eligibility criteria:
You are between 17-24 years old and are enrolled as a student in a higher education institution at the time of the application and for the duration of the program. You would like to work in an international team of youth leaders to contribute to an international conference and make a difference. You have an interest and/or experience in the SOTG 2022 themes and/or intercultural learning. You are ready to commit and can attend the 3 virtual workshops on July 14, 18, 20 2022 (2 hours each). You have a working knowledge of English and can engage in virtual platforms.

We are pleased to inform you that the University of Padua (Italy) has published the global call for applications "UNIPhD - Eight century legacy of multidisciplinary research and training for the next-generation talents” (closing date: 8 March 2022).
This PhD Programme targets the most promising Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) coming to the University of Padua from all over the world to pursue a brand new International, Intersectoral, Interdisciplinary and Innovative “training through research” experience.
UNIPhD involves 25 PhD-Courses covering all research domains. 50 full time fellowships are on offer. Each fellowship is associated to a research topic, that is a framework within which every applicant has to propose an original research project in collaboration with a Supervisor at the University of Padua.
Selected ESRs benefit from very attractive employment conditions and will be recruited through a 3-year contract starting 1 October 2022.
At the date of the call deadline, applicants must be eligible for PhD studies in Italy and meet the following criteria:
Mobility. Candidates should not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years before the call deadline.
Qualification. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree or another academic qualification recognized as equivalent to a second cycle degree, obtained by and no later than 30 September 2022.
Early Stage. Applicants should not have already been awarded a doctoral degree and must be in their first 4 years (or full-time equivalent) of research experience.

„Scientific challenges in the global village: From climate change, pandemic viruses to multi-resistant pathogens”
Short summary:
Today’s world is characterized by major challenges such as the climate change. Besides global warming, emerging pandemic virus diseases such SARS-CoV2 and a steadily increasing number of antibiotic-resistant pathogens appear as major threat in the health care systems. These challenges have been creating major impacts on societal as well economic aspects in a growing globalized society. What all of this implies and how these challenges can be tackled through the combined knowledge of natural sciences and medicine will be discussed in the Marburg Online Winter Program.

Le Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique (Direction Générale de la Recherche Scientifique) a le plaisir de vous informer que dans le contexte du 18e Sommet de la Francophonie, le gouvernement du Québec lance un appel à projets pour soutenir des partenariats en recherche et innovation et en entrepreneuriat appliqués au numérique entre le Québec et la Tunisie.
Ces projets bilatéraux devront avoir des retombées concrètes pour les acteurs du numérique au Québec et en Tunisie, et contribuer au renforcement des relations bilatérales entre les partenaires et les écosystèmes québécois et tunisiens.
Cet appel vise à:
- renforcer la relation Québec-Tunisie dans le domaine du numérique chez les jeunes,
- stimuler les nouvelles collaborations bilatérales en recherche appliquée, en innovation et en entrepreneuriat dans ce domaine,
- susciter l’émergence de projets à fort potentiel de retombées sur le plan pédagogique, commercial et sociétal,
- encourager les collaborations entre le milieu de l’enseignement et de la recherche et celui de l’entreprise,
- encourager les approches pluridisciplinaires au numérique entre partenaires québécois et tunisiens,
- jeter les bases d’une coopération durable entre les écosystèmes numériques du Québec et de la Tunisie (de manière large).
La subvention pour un projet retenu ne pourra excéder 25000$ CA et représenter un maximum de 75% du coût total du projet.
Pour obtenir un soutien financier du Ministère des Relations Internationales et de la Francophonie, les projets doivent être présentés par des citoyens canadiens ou des résidents permanents du Canada vivant au Québec en étroite collaboration avec au moins un partenaire tunisien, au plus tard le 1er mars2021

Dans le cadre du projet Yabda Erasmus +, le consortium Yabda organise une série de webinaires sur le thème : ‘’Renforcement de l’entrepreneuriat dans les pays du Maghreb’’ les 20, 21 et 22 Janvier 2021 de 16 à 18 heures.
Les webinaires visent à former le personnel académique et administratif et les étudiants des universités maghrébines basées au Maroc, en Algérie et en Tunisie à travers l´échange d´expériences et de bonnes pratiques avec les institutions des pays de l´union européenne partenaires, en l’occurrence : l’Université d´Athènes d´Economie et de Commerce (AUEB), HEC Management School - Université de Liège et ReadLab (Athènes, Grèce) .

L´équipe d´étudiants de la filière "Préparatoire Intégrée" du département d´Informatique et des Communications de la Faculté des Sciences de Sfax qui a participé à la compétition AR/VR Africa 2020 (https://arvrafrica.com) est revenue avec un deuxième prix.
La première promotion de la nouvelle filière, cycle d´ingénieurs en Sciences de l´Informatique qui s´étale sur cinq ans y compris deux années préparatoires intégrées, à la FSS s´annonce prometteuse en remportant un prix dès sa première participation à une compétition prestigieuse, AR/VR Africa 2020 Hackathon.
Les étudiants Mahdi KOUBAA, Mohamed Taha MORALI et Mariem ALOULOU, membre de l´équipe "Cyber Free", ont choisi le thème de la Santé et ont proposé un jeu vidéo sur la base de la réalité virtuelle. Ce jeu va permettre aux patients de surmonter leur état d´angoisse et de panique qui précède toute opération chirurgicale. Ainsi, le jeu joue le rôle de préparateur psychologique du patient avant l´acte chirurgical.
Bravo pour tous les étudiants qui ont participé à cette compétition et mille félicitations à Mahdi, Mohamed Taha et Mariem. Vous avez honoré votre Département, Faculté et Université.

Le projet Innovation Sociale et Technologie Pour une Meilleure Employabilité
des Femmes Tunisiennes (INSAF-FEM), financé par la commission européenne, lance un appel à candidatures afin de recruter un expert évaluateur qualité externe pour ledit projet. Le projet INSAF-FEM dure 3ans (Du 15/01/2020 au
14/01/2023).
L’évaluation externe permet d’assurer un suivi efficace, une meilleure évaluation et une bonne gestion de la qualité du projet INSAF-FEM, aussi comme le plus grand impact sur toutes les institutions et régions concernées. L’expert externe contribue à garantir l’évaluation des activités et leurs conformités par rapport aux objectifs, résultats et impact attendu du projet. Le lot de travail Assurance qualité est coordonné par l’Université de Sfax et co-coordonné par l’Université de Galatasaray.
Les conditions contractuelles et les taches à confier à l’évaluateur externe sont précisées dans les TDR jointes à cet appel. Les candidats désireux de participer à cet appel sont priés de consulter les TDR ci-jointes.
